When the actions scream hatred, the words are just lies (Work In Progress)

2024

This series of dadaist-inspired collages comes as a respose to transphobia from the new government elected in July 2024.

Keir Starmer’s Labour constantly claim to support trans people, while their actions prove the opposite.
Keir starmer has said trans people deserve “recognition and acceptance” while advocating for education about gender identity (or as he deems it an “ideology”) to be banned, directly paralelling Thatcher’s Section 28.
Wes Streeting claims he and the new government “seek a very different relationship with [the trans] community” while taking forward reccomendations from the widely disputed Cass Report, which is said to have  for overlooked vast amounts of evidence and have worked with people linked to anti-trans groups, and banning puberty blockers only for trans youth, while cisgender people still have full access.

Both of the above men, as well as other party members, do not recognise trans people as the gender they identify with, which is so simply and clearly transphobic.

So how can this party possibly claim to stand with trans people, when their actions repeatedly and unapolageticly try to deny us rights, refuse us healthcare, and erase our existnece from education?
As the project name states, when their actions scream hatred, the words are just lies.
