2024This project follows on from Queerness and Fluid, in that it continues to reflect the experiences of LGBTQ+ people, especially those in the UK, but similarities will be found for those in many countries.
However, unlike the previous two projects, it is less gentle, less soft. Queerness was largely a positive project, Fluid was more reflective and melancholy, and I would describe The dove returned with a knife instead as angry and a more direct protest against the legal and social treatment of the LGBTQ+ community.
