MEET the  PUPPETS

Say Hi to our amazing cast of puppets, learn some fun facts about them, as well as some cool behind the scenes details!


Eleutheria

Eleutheria, Ele for short, is the compère of The Transgender Puppet Variety Show. She is named after the Ancient Greek spirt of Liberty, which... well you can connect the dots there.
Ele is puppeteered by Artemis Hatfield, alongside her directing the show.

Scrimbo

Scrimbo is the show’s resident teacher, who loves to share their knowledge about numbers, language and science!
According to Gee Smith, Scrimbo’s puppeteer, Scrimbo used to be a therapist but wasn’t very good at it. Hesper

Hesper is another main puppet in the show, he takes part in whatever acts need him, and he doesn’t hold back when he’s interviewing shady politicians. Like Scrimbo, he has a passion for sharing what he knows about being trans.

Hesper is performed by Will Sibley.
